WaterSTEAM proposes an innovative and integrated learning methodology for secondary school education, centering around an inclusive and collaborative STEAM approach in education, which means integrating Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts and Mathematics as access points for guiding student inquiry, dialogue, and critical thinking in landscape studies.

Landscape values and the role of water in shaping it is the core topic of the educational project. “Landscape” means an area, as perceived by people, whose character is the result of the action and interaction of natural and/or human factors. In WaterSTEAM students will investigate aspects of own landscape, adopting an Inquiry Based Learning model that will allow them to deal with the European Landscape Convention, water landscapes, human activities and threats in landscapes.
